Good choice choosing a Calphalon saute pan. I have a Calphalon One saute pan and it is so versatile so would be perfect for RV living.

Ah yes, I would much prefer to go the French Press route too! We are concerned, however, about the amount of coffee grinds going down the sink compared to the current filter solution. A minor point of clarification.

Very informative entry and lessons learned from the road. Being from California, we are spoiled with our fresh produce, Trader Joe's and other speciality stores so not having it will certainly take some adjusting.

Sounds like you are getting the road food down to a science. One coffee note, nothing makes better coffee than a French Press. And there are no filters to buy and throw away.

I have a glass French Press at home and a insulated cup version for camping. Using you coffee geek link I found this one, like my glass one but made of lexan for camping ;-) http://www.coffeegeek.com/reviews/vacpots/lexanjavapress
