Oh my! As my friend Donald from Texas would say, "it do sound good."

Classic diner, complete with checkered floor, chrome stools and laminate counters.

A Persian huh? We'll need to keep our eyes open for that one. We have still yet to try another local delicacy ... the Pasty (FYI: Around here it rhymes with Nasty). I'm looking forward to trying this traditional Cornish relative to the peroshki, filled with meat and potatoes. I'm sure we'll find a vegetable version somewhere for Rene, or I might just have to eat two!

Good food is always a great treat. While I was traveling in Northern MN and Wi a few weeks ago, someone told me about a "Persian" It is, according to my fellow camper, a delicious pastry sort of like a honey bun either from MN or Wi. I never tried one. My next trip up there will have to include a search for the best persian.....so if you get a chance try one.

Happy traveling
