Sad Sack is Stepping Aside

First off, my apologies to anyone who is put off by the last few posts I’ve written. Yes, I know I’ve taken on a negative tone, but this blog been one of my main outlets after being treated like a subhuman at Satan’s Castle. Sorry to be a downer, I’m not usually like this. When this gig is over at Christmas, we’ll be back on the road traveling around, and living the Dream part we enjoy so much more.

This Friday, Black Friday, I start 12 hour shifts. This is where the money is, this is why I’m here, and I’m not going to have the energy to write. So you’ll be hearing more from Jim and less from me, except maybe my occasional reports about silly and suprising items I see coming down the conveyor belt. Like these. . . .

  1. So, if I’ve invited the woman of my dreams over for a nice venison dinner with the hope of getting her in bed afterward and we both happen to be Catholics and she’s a David Cassidy fan, then I have it made, huh?

  2. A Happy Ending: Today my original order arrived from Amazon (after another phone call to them yesterday), overnight via FedEx. The “other” order was picked up by UPS this afternoon. Now, was that so hard? Apparently.

We will now be able to watch the new Star Trek movie. Packing many of those?

Happy Thanksgiving to both of you!

    • Awesome that you made some heads roll there! And yes, I packed a TON of Star Trek movies this week. Personally, I know I didn’t screw any of those up. Looks like a good flick, enjoy! And happy Turkey Day to you as well.

  3. I look forward to your new blog entries, regardless of if they are rants about Satan’s treatment of his minions, rants about the second great depression, or insight into the fun and foibles of your awesome lifestyle. I don’t think I am alone when I say keepup the good work!!

  4. People actually buy and read that kind of stuff? Keep us posted on the really good ones you see – I need the laughs in the morning when I read your blog.

The way I see it, people who write blogs that are all airiness and light and happy, are just sidestepping the negatives. I enjoy hearing both, because that’s what life really is about.
